This package includes a Flat Panel HDTV (LCD or Plasma) or an entry-level projector and screen. LCDs are a great option because they are very efficient, bright, have all but eliminated screen glare and look stunning. Paired with the display is a High Definition receiver with HDMI up-conversion and 7.1 surround sound. Also included is a universal remote for ease of use and a Blu-ray DVD player so you can take advantage of your HD setup.
Receivers in this price range offer many valuable features. All video inputs get upconverted to HDMI so you only have one high-definition cable running to your TV, and all speaker channels receive 110 to 140 watts of power. Like in the previous price point, these receivers also have the capability of powering a second pair of speakers in another room, enabling you to watch a movie on your TV and listen to music in another room simultaneously.
We offer a 7.1 speaker system with this package so you get the full surround sound experience. The other benefit of this price point is that the speakers themselves are extremely customizable; there are many configurations for you to choose from: floor standing towers with bookshelf surrounds, bookshelf packages, on-wall packages, in-wall packages, in-ceiling packages, and a mixture of these. An in-wall subwoofer is also an option if you do not want a box subwoofer sitting in the corner.
An HD Blu-ray disc player will allow you to take full advantage of your new surround sound system and High Definition display. A few select players are also networkable and feature instant streaming of Netflix movies to your theater.

Blu-ray / DVD Player
Blu-ray has won the war over HD-DVD and is the next generation of media that will replace DVD in years to come. Blu-ray players also play normal DVDs discs, so you don’t have to worry if you have a large DVD collection. Many players even upconvert your normal DVDs to give you a picture quality that is closer to high definition.
Theater Receiver
Receivers in this price range offer many valuable features. Speakers
This package features 7.1 surround sound, which includes a center channel speaker, six surround speakers, and a powered subwoofer. In this price range you can pick almost any speaker configuration for your room, including bookshelves, in-wall, on-wall, in-ceiling, or a combination of these. The 7.1 system also gives you a more full surround sound experience than the 5.1 system.
Universal Remote
Universal remotes are extremely popular with our customers, and we recommend them for any installation. They simplify your entertainment experience and eliminate the clutter of multiple remotes that only get used for one or two buttons. The biggest benefit of our universal remotes is their ease of use: just press one button and all of your components turn on and adjust themselves to the right setting.
