The focal point in any Home Theater is always the video display. Front projection is the preferred setup in most home theaters, although in a room where lighting isn’t as controllable a Flat Panel LCD HDTV is an option.

As before, these speakers are configurable in many ways: floor standing towers with bookshelf surrounds, bookshelf packages, on-wall packages, in-wall packages, in-ceiling packages, and a mixture of these. An in-wall subwoofer is also an option if you do not want a box subwoofer sitting in the corner.
Lighting control is also included in this package. This added convenience allows you to control not just your audio/video equipment, but the lighting in the room. A single button press will not only start the movie and adjust the volume, but dim the lights as well.
An HD Blu-ray disc player will allow you to take full advantage of your new surround sound system and High Definition display. A few select players are also networkable and feature instant streaming of Netflix movies to your theater. In addition, this price point includes a basic media server like an Apple TV, which will allow you to stream music from any computer in the house, rent new release HD movies instantly, view your photos, and even watch YouTube videos, right on your new projection display.
A system with so many devices and capability could be confusing to operate, which is why this package includes a powerful universal remote. This remote will allow you to simply push one activity button (i.e. “Watch a Movie”) and all of your equipment adjusts to their correct settings so you’re instantly enjoying the experience.

Projection System
While LCDs are the most popular new TV for the majority of clients, this is the price range where we start to offer front projection systems to our clients. The screens commonly range in size from 84” to 120”+ for this price range.
Blu-ray / DVD Player
Blu-ray has won the war over HD-DVD and is the next generation of media that will replace DVD in years to come. Blu-ray players also play normal DVDs discs, so you don’t have to worry if you have a large DVD collection. Many players even upconvert your normal DVDs to give you a picture quality that is closer to high definition.
Media Server
A media server makes it easy to enjoy all of your digital content – music, movies, photos and more – in your new Home Theater. They are an added bonus to any system.
Theater Receiver
Receivers in this price range are robust devices with many valuable features. All video inputs get upconverted to HDMI so you only have one high-definition cable running to your TV, and all speaker channels receive 130 to 140 watts of power. Like in the previous price point, these receivers also have the capability of powering a second pair of speakers in another room.
Speakers
This package features a cinema-quality 7.1 surround sound, which includes a center channel speaker, six surround speakers, and a powered subwoofer. In this price range you can pick almost any speaker configuration for your room, including bookshelves, in-wall, on-wall, in-ceiling, or a combination of these. The 7.1 system also gives you a more full surround sound experience than the 5.1 system.
Lighting Control
Lighting control adds extra convenience to your system in many ways. Not only can you automate your lights to dim when the movie starts, but they can be programmed so when you pause the movie to leave the room briefly, the lights raise enough to let you see where you are going without turning all the way up and blinding you and your family. Push Play upon returning and they dim again.
Universal Remote
Universal remotes are extremely popular with our customers, and we recommend them for any installation. They simplify your entertainment experience and eliminate the clutter of multiple remotes that only get used for one or two buttons. The biggest benefit of our universal remotes is their ease of use: just press one button and all of your components turn on and adjust themselves to the right setting.
Rack Mount Media Closet
A rack is a great option for the client who does not want to see all the electronics in the same room as the Home Theater. We have many options for this type of installation, and choose an appropriate universal remote that will work wirelessly through walls with your equipment.
