The newest home phone systems offer countless features to add to the convenience of your everyday life. Many offer one base station and several wireless handsets, allowing you to check voicemail from anywhere in the house. Some have bluetooth built in so you can connect wirelessly to your cell phone and make or answer cellular calls from any handset.

Whether you want all the bells and whistles or just something newer than what you have, we can help find the perfect phone system for your home.
VoIP is a new way to make and receive phone calls using your Internet connection instead of a standard phone line. You can plug any normal telephone into the VoIP modem and make or receive calls just like normal. The person on the other end of the line won’t know the difference.

The biggest benefits of VoIP over a normal landline are cost and convenience.

Cost: Because it’s using your current Internet service, VoIP is cheaper than a traditional phone line. Plans offer unlimited local and long distance calls, and free calls to many other countries. All other international calls are typically as cheap as 1¢ per minute.

Convenience: You can still get a local phone number with VoIP, or even keep your existing number. Move a lot? No problem. All you have to do is take your VoIP modem with you and plug it in wherever there’s Internet access. Your phone line is immediately active and ready to make and receive calls from your phone number. Callers won’t know if you’re at home or in Paris.

Intercoms are a great addition to any home, new or old. Whether you have young children you'd like to call to dinner or you just don't want to have to walk across the house to say something, intercoms are the perfect solution.

Intercom systems can offer much more than just talking from one room to another. It's possible to specify which room to talk to, or to speak through the entire house. There are systems that offer a doorbell interface as well, so you can talk with the person on your front porch without having to go to the front of the house. There are even intercom systems that boast video, allowing you to see the person you're talking with, and vice versa.

Additionally, your intercom system can utilize the in-ceiling and in-wall speakers you use for your whole-house audio system, making clunky old in-wall intercom units a thing of the past.

You may think adding an intercom system to your existing home will be too much of a hassle, but think again. New wireless intercom systems have made it possible to easily install intercoms anywhere in your home. These can be mounted flush to your wall, so they're out of the way but easy to access, and they look more professional than the models that have to be plugged in and sit on a stand.
