How We Can Help
Why Macs Are Better
We
believe using a computer shouldn't be a
headache - you should love
the
experience. That's why we use Macs and
recommend them to everyone we know.
Macs are better than Windows PCs for a million reasons, and if you're considering buying one you're already on the smart path.
But better or not, they're still different than what you're used to, and different can be frustrating. That's where we come in.
We can walk you through the process of converting to Mac every step of the way, even if you're not sure you want to buy one yet.
1) We'll bring one of our Mac laptops to your home and show you around the operating system, teaching you how to do common tasks and answering any questions you have. You'll feel a lot more at ease once you're familiar with the new interface.
2) After you've fallen in love with Macs, we'll stop you from throwing your old PC out the second-story window. Next, we'll help you pick out which Mac laptop or desktop is best for you. We can even help you save a little money on one.
3) When you've received your new Mac, we can help set it up and transfer all your old files and data over from your PC. And yes, all of your old files will work on a Mac.
4) If you need to learn how to do something on your new Mac - like downloading pictures from your digital camera - or you just have a question, we'll be there to help.
5) Throw out the stress ball and call all of your friends to rub in that your computer is better than theirs.

We also offer an Apple Conversion solution for businesses.

Here are just
some of the reasons you’d be crazy not to use
a Mac.
It just works
How
often does your PC freeze up? How much time
do you have to spend just to get a printer
or camera working after you plug it in?
Imagine how much you could get done if your
computer worked when you wanted it to, how
you wanted it to - all the time. That’s the
beauty of Mac.
Everything that goes into a Mac is built to work seamlessly together. The hardware and software were built by the same people, ensuring that they work together in harmony. No error messages. No restarts. No headache.
A world without viruses
Your PC is vulnerable to over 115,000 viruses. This means that you either leave yourself vulnerable, or buy Antivirus software that you have to renew each year and let run in the background all the time and bog your computer down...
Macs don’t get viruses. That’s because the Mac OS has been built with a secure UNIX foundation and security features that protect it above and beyond its PC siblings. Windows viruses can’t touch a Mac, and Mac viruses are virtually non-existent.
All your
old PC files will work on your Mac
Microsoft Word documents? Excel spreadsheets? Quicken financial files? All the popular programs you use on your PC have Mac versions too, so your files will work just as well as they did before (and probably better).
Run Windows, too (if you’re forced to)
Have a program that only runs on Windows? Now you can run it on your Mac, too.
New Macs use the same Intel processor that’s in your PC, so with software packages like Parallels or VMWare, you can use any program - Mac or PC - on one machine.
It knows what you want to do
When you use a Mac, you might almost get the feeling that it is reading your mind. Macs are extremely intuitive, so when you want to do something, you don’t have to dig through menus for the right thing to click, it’s where you’d expect it to be.
Applications on a Mac are all designed to be similar in the way you use them, so even if you’ve never used a certain program before, you’ll find its interface familiar.
Make
amazing things easily (iLife / iWork
apps)
Your PC comes preloaded with trials of all sorts of applications that you’ll never use. New Macs all come with iLife, a package of full applications - not trials - that will let you create all sorts of cool stuff. You can edit photos, make movies, create DVDs, publish a website... the possibilities are endless. And the great thing about the iLife apps is that they all work seamlessly together. You can use photos you edited in one program on a website you’re making. You can take a movie you created and add it to a hollywood-style DVD.
Beautiful design
You won’t catch your friends drooling over that PC sitting on your desk. But Macs are simply beautiful. The hardware design itself is gorgeous, and the operating system is full of eye-candy, even in the most simple things it does. Go to Apple.com and get lost looking at close-up shots of the machines. You wouldn’t do that on any PC maker’s website.
If you're still not convinced, give us a call or visit Apple's website to learn more.
